overview:

the guestroom soft good renovation created an environment reminiscent of a southern home where attention to detail is welcoming, personalized and meaningful. touches are evident with throw pillows and duvets embroidered with a bespoke design representing the city’s historic architecture and the state oak tree. a colour palette of blood orange, pewter and charcoal was created to complement the existing peach wall covering, infuse colour and provide visual contrast.

southern art and bourbon bar……. the largest component of the renovation that brings this concept to life is the unique collage of atlanta based artists work suspended from the ceiling, floating over guests like a southern cultural cloud. carpet designs feature scripted recipes from chef art smith’s personal collection. the whimsical and layered style is intended to not take itself too seriously, encouraging guests to feel comfortable, relaxed and able to linger over southern inspired cuisine created by chef art smith. randomly placed chandeliers mingle amongst the art, their presence adding to the vibrancy of the aesthetic. a custom damask wall covering installed above a tall painted wainscot adds a cozy library vibe. the lobby bar is wrapped in a rich tobacco wall covering and showcases authentic bourbon barrels, transforming itself into the bourbon bar. adjacent to the lobby is the artisan charcuterie and a vintage pie table.
